Analytics Overview

The analytics dashboard shows key metrics: contact growth, pipeline performance, revenue trends, team activity, and communication stats. The report cards are fully customizable, HubSpot-style — add/remove them, reorder by drag, switch each chart's view, expand to full screen, and filter by any date range.

Steps

  1. Go to Analytics from the sidebar.
  2. Review the six KPI cards at the top (Total Contacts, Growth Rate, Avg Lead Score, Conversion Rate, Churn Rate, Active Segments).
  3. Pick a time window from the 🗓 date-range picker (top-right): Last 7 / 30 / 90 days, Last 12 months, or a Custom from–to range. Every report card and the Contact Growth chart re-query to that window.
  4. Add cards with "+ Add report" and remove any card with the × that appears on hover. Removed cards go back into the Add list.
  5. Reorder the grid by dragging any card into any slot — the layout is saved per browser.
  6. Switch a chart card's view with the view picker (the small ▭/◔ icon on hover): Bars, Columns, Line, Area, Pie, or Donut.
  7. Expand any card to full screen with the ⤢ button to read a dense chart; press Esc or click the backdrop to close.
  8. On Line/Area charts, use the ⇄ swap-axes button to flip to a horizontal layout (categories down the left with full labels, values along the bottom).

Good to know

  • Ask the AI: Type natural language questions like "How many deals closed last month?" in the AI query bar.
  • Export reports as CSV for external use.
  • Your per-card view (chart type, swapped axes), the grid order, which cards are shown, and the selected date range all persist per browser — so each user keeps their own layout.
  • Each card opens in its standard view by default (e.g. Pipeline Stages as a donut, Contact Growth as bars); whatever you switch it to is remembered and restored on reload.
Example: A founder before her board meeting types into the AI bar: "show me revenue, new deals, and conversion rate by month for the last 6 months". The chart renders inline; she exports to CSV, drops it into her board deck, and the metrics conversation takes 12 minutes instead of 2 hours of spreadsheet wrangling.

Troubleshooting

Charts showing no data
No activity in the selected date range, or the report type requires specific data that doesn't exist yet.
Fix: Change the date range to "All Time" to see if data exists. New orgs need contacts, deals, and activity before analytics populate.
Numbers don't match what I see in Contacts/Pipeline
Analytics caches data and refreshes every 15 minutes. Analytics also exclude deleted contacts/deals.
Fix: Wait for the next refresh cycle. For real-time counts, use the Contacts or Pipeline page directly.
AI Query returns wrong results
Natural-language queries can be misinterpreted, especially complex ones with multiple conditions.
Fix: Simplify your query. Instead of "Show me all contacts from Texas with deals over $10K who haven't been contacted in 30 days", start with "Show contacts from Texas" then refine.

Error messages

  • No data available for this report — No matching records in the selected date range. Expand the date range.
  • AI query failed — AI token quota may be exhausted or the query was too complex. Try a simpler question.

Plans

Basic analytics on all plans. AI-powered queries use AI token allocation (Starter 500K/mo, Pro 2M/mo, Max 10M/mo).
