Native CRMown Video Meetings (Daily.co)

Native end-to-end video meetings — no Zoom/Meet/Teams account required. Click the "CRMown" button on any calendar event to provision a meeting room; guests join via /meeting/<publicId> with no signup. Cloud recording + automatic transcription land in the org's BYOS storage (Drive/OneDrive/Dropbox/S3) and feed the existing AI extraction pipeline (action items, objections, follow-up email draft) — exposed as "View transcript & AI summary →" on the calendar event popup once the meeting ends.

Steps

  1. Calendar > new event > click the CRMown button next to the meeting-link field. The link is provisioned instantly.
  2. Share the calendar event (or the /meeting/<id> URL) with attendees. Guests pick their name on the lobby screen and join — no account needed.
  3. During the call: cloud recording + Deepgram transcription run in the background.
  4. After the call: open the calendar event popup → "View transcript & AI summary" deep-links to the meeting detail page; "Watch recording" plays the BYOS-routed MP4.

Good to know

  • Plan caps: Starter 300 min/mo, Pro 1,500 min/mo, Max unlimited (6,000 min/mo soft cap on the shared platform Daily.co key — connect your own Daily key for truly unlimited).
  • Storage routing follows the org BYOS config — Drive/OneDrive/Dropbox/S3 if connected, falls back to platform R2.
  • Recording + transcript pipeline is asynchronous: the "View transcript" link appears on the calendar popup once the post-meeting webhooks finish processing (typically <5 minutes after meeting end).
  • Meeting cap reset: counter resets at 00:00 UTC on the 1st of each month.
Example: 5-person agency on Pro uses CRMown meetings for all client calls. They burn through 1,200 of 1,500 minutes mid-month, see the toast nudge, upgrade to Max for unlimited (subject to soft cap) — or connect their own Daily.co API key for truly unlimited at no usage charge from CRMown.
