LinkedIn Sales Navigator — Import Leads (CSV)

Bring Sales Navigator leads and accounts into CRMown today via CSV export/import. Works with any Sales Navigator seat — no API access required.

Open in CRMown →

Steps

  1. In Sales Navigator, open a Lead List or Account List you want to import.
  2. Click the more-options menu on the list and choose "Download" to export as CSV. (For lists built from a search, save the results to a list first.)
  3. Open the CSV and confirm the header row includes at least: First Name, Last Name, Company, Title. Email and LinkedIn Profile URL will be present only for 1st-degree connections — that is a Sales Navigator limitation, not a CRMown one.
  4. In CRMown, go to Contacts and click "Import", or open Settings > Data > Imports (📊 Data at the top of the Settings page) and start a new import.
  5. Upload the CSV. CRMown auto-detects columns; map any unmatched fields (e.g., "Company" → Company, "Title" → Job Title, "LinkedIn Profile URL" → LinkedIn URL).
  6. Tag the import (e.g., "sales-nav-q2") so you can segment these contacts later.
  7. Click "Import" — de-duplication runs automatically against existing email/phone.
  8. Open Contacts, filter by the tag, and start a sequence or drop them into a pipeline.

Good to know

  • If the CSV has no emails (common for non-1st-degree leads), CRMown's enrichment (Hunter/Apollo) can find them — select the contacts and use Bulk Enrich from the Contacts toolbar. See the "Contact Enrichment" article under Contacts for setup details.
  • Plan your import size against your monthly enrichment caps — Starter: 75/provider, Pro: 150/provider, Max: Hunter 600, Apollo 400. Big Sales Nav exports can burn through Starter/Pro allowances fast; add your own Hunter/Apollo API key in Settings > Integrations for unlimited enrichment.
  • Save a Segment on the import tag to auto-refresh as you add more Sales Nav CSVs over time.
  • LinkedIn's terms prohibit scraping tools. Use the built-in CSV export — avoid third-party scrapers in any workspace connected to CRMown.
  • You can undo an import from Settings > Data > Imports if the mapping went wrong. (Import History is NOT in the Tools sidebar — it lives on the Settings page under 📊 Data, or go straight to /dashboard/imports.)
Example: A B2B SDR builds a Sales Nav list of 280 "VPs of Engineering at 50–500 person SaaS companies in NYC", exports as CSV, imports into CRMown tagged "vp-eng-nyc-q2". 240 lack emails (non-1st-degree), so she runs Bulk Enrich — Hunter finds 187 emails, Apollo adds 73 phone numbers. By Friday she has a curated, contactable target list ready for sequence.
