# Meet Mode — On-Site Capture (Photos, Videos, Voice)

_Mobile App (iOS & Android)_

Meet Mode is a mobile-only capture flow for in-person interactions — open houses, property tours, networking events, client visits. Snap a photo, record a short video with a caption, or voice-memo your notes. Captures upload to your org storage; photos attach to a contact and are visible on the contact page, while videos and voice notes are stored but not yet surfaced in the app.

## Steps
1. Open the app > More > Meet Mode > tap "Start" on the relevant mode (Photo / Video / Voice).
2. Optionally tag the capture with an event name + location. The event name becomes part of the video’s file name (event-videos/<event-slug>/…). On Google Drive that name survives intact; on S3, Cloudflare R2 and Dropbox the provider assigns its own key, so the grouping is only in the stored file’s metadata, not a folder you can browse.
3. For voice memos, recording sends to AI for transcription + a short bullet summary you can drop on a contact note.
4. Captures upload directly to your connected storage (BYOS-aware — Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, S3 family, or local).
5. Photos: pick a contact on the post-capture screen and the photo appears in the Photos grid on that contact's page in the web dashboard.
6. Voice notes: the recording is saved as an Audio Note the moment you stop recording — find it under Tools → AI Intelligence → Audio Notes, transcribed and summarised. If you go on to save a contact from it, the note is linked to that contact too.
7. Videos: these upload to your storage but are not yet listed anywhere in the app, and a video’s on-screen transcript is not saved — copy anything you need before leaving that screen.

## Tips
- Videos are capped at 5 minutes (longer ones exceed the 200MB upload limit). Photos have no count cap; storage burn is whatever your provider plan allows.
- Voice transcripts use the same AI token budget as the rest of the app — long memos count toward your monthly token cap (Starter 500K / Pro 2M / Max 10M).
- Meet Mode writes a sidecar JSON next to each video (event name, location lat/lng, caption, captured-by, timestamp) so the BYOS folder is self-documenting.

## Example
A real-estate agent runs a Saturday open house. She opens Meet Mode, tags the event "1812 Maple Open House", and captures 3 photos + 2 short walkthroughs + a voice note ("buyer Couple A loved the kitchen, asked about HOA"). Monday morning everything is filed under event-videos/1812-maple-open-house/ in her Google Drive, the buyer note is on Couple A's contact card, and her Pulse score nudges Couple A up because of the activity.

## Troubleshooting
- **I recorded a voice note in Meet Mode and cannot find it** — Recordings made before this was fixed were only uploaded as part of saving a contact — leaving that screen first discarded them silently, and nothing was kept. Meet Mode videos are still storage-only. Fix: New voice notes appear under Tools → AI Intelligence → Audio Notes as soon as you stop recording, whether or not you save a contact. For a Meet Mode video, open your storage provider directly and sort by most recent. If that fails: A voice note recorded before the fix, on a screen that was closed without saving, was never uploaded and cannot be recovered.
- **A Meet Mode video upload fails or spins** — The upload proxy caps request bodies at 50MB, which a few minutes of 1080p video exceeds. Fix: Record shorter clips, or transfer a long video off the phone and attach it to the contact from the web dashboard.
- **Camera screen is black or won't focus** — Camera permission was denied during onboarding or another app is holding the camera. Fix: Phone Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera > CRMown > allow. Force-quit any other camera app (FaceTime, Zoom) and re-enter Meet Mode.
- **Voice memo transcription comes back empty** — Either the microphone wasn't armed (permission denied), the recording was too short (<2 seconds), or the audio was silent. Fix: Phone Settings > Microphone > CRMown > allow. Re-record holding the phone closer to your mouth.
- **Video upload spinner runs forever** — The network dropped mid-upload, or the video exceeded the upload proxy’s 50MB body limit (the app itself allows more, the proxy in front of it does not). Fix: Trim the video to under 5 minutes (compress in Photos first if needed) and re-upload. On poor cell signal, the app retries up to 3 times — switch to Wi-Fi for large files.

## Plans
Meet Mode itself is free. The AI voice transcription draws from your monthly AI token budget; uploads draw from your storage provider's quota.
