# Bug Reports & Feedback

_Settings & Administration_

Report bugs, request features, or send general feedback to the CRMown support team. Each report gets a ticket number (BUG-{ORG}-001) and you receive notifications when an admin replies.

## Steps
1. Go to Settings > Support.
2. Click "+ Report a Bug" — describe the issue, what you expected vs. what happened, and steps to reproduce.
3. Tick "Capture screenshot + console logs" for technical issues — the panel grabs a screenshot of the current page and any browser errors automatically.
4. For UI issues that are hard to describe, click "🔴 Record Screen + Audio" to capture a short screen recording (up to 2 minutes). It records your microphone — and any shared tab audio — by default, so you can narrate the problem out loud as you reproduce it. Allow the microphone permission prompt when it appears; a green "🎤 Mic on" badge confirms audio is being captured.
5. After submit, you get a ticket ID (e.g. BUG-ACME123-014). Replies appear in the ticket thread; the bell icon notifies you of new admin replies.
6. Use "AI Troubleshoot" before submitting to get an instant AI triage that may resolve common issues without a ticket.

## Tips
- Bug Reports differ from the SOS Helper chat: SOS is conversational + private to you; Bug Reports are tickets that escalate to the support team.
- The built-in "Record Screen + Audio" recorder captures your narration (microphone) and shared tab audio by default — talk through the bug while you reproduce it so support can hear what you're seeing. You can also attach your own video recordings (mp4 / mov).

## Example
A user notices that the "Save" button on the segment editor stops working after editing a complex condition. She opens Bug Reports, types a 1-line description, the panel auto-grabs a screenshot of the broken page + the JS console error, and submits as BUG-AGENCY42-019. AI Troubleshoot runs and detects the underlying issue (browser autofill misfire); she gets a fix-via-cache-clear suggestion immediately and a confirmed bug-fix ETA from a CRMown engineer 4 hours later.

## Troubleshooting
- **My screen recording has no sound / my narration wasn't captured** — Bug-report recordings capture microphone + shared tab audio by default, but the browser needs microphone permission. If the mic prompt was dismissed or blocked, the video records silently. Fix: When you start a recording, allow the microphone permission prompt (it appears right after the screen-share picker) and check that the green "🎤 Mic on" badge shows while recording. If you previously blocked the mic, re-enable it in your browser's site settings (padlock icon in the address bar → Microphone → Allow) and record again. To also capture a specific tab's audio, pick that tab in the share dialog and tick "Share tab audio".
