Push Notifications on Mobile
CRMown delivers push alerts for inbox messages, calendar reminders, pipeline updates, team chat mentions, automation events, and @mentions. You control which channels fire from More > Settings > Notifications.
Steps
- On first launch the app asks for OS-level notification permission — accept it. (You can flip this later from your phone's Settings app under "CRMown > Notifications".)
- Go to More > Settings > Notifications inside the app to fine-tune the per-channel toggles: Inbox, Calendar, Pipeline, Team Chat, Automations, Mentions.
- Each channel toggle controls both the bell badge and the actual push delivery — turning Pipeline off means no push and no badge bump for stage changes / new deals.
- Notifications open the relevant screen on tap (a chat message opens the thread; a deal-stage notification opens the deal card).
Good to know
- Push prefs are stored per user, not per device — turning off Inbox push from your phone also disables it on the iPad you also have signed in.
- Quiet Hours / Do Not Disturb is honored from your phone OS — CRMown doesn't override it.
- If pushes stop arriving, the most common cause is OS-level permission was revoked (iOS sometimes does this after long inactivity). Check Settings > Notifications > CRMown on your phone and re-enable.
Example: A sales lead has Inbox + Mentions on, Pipeline + Automations off. She gets a push the second a customer replies to a thread (Inbox) or someone @-mentions her in team chat (Mentions), but doesn't get pinged every time a deal moves stage — that noise stays on her desktop dashboard where she reviews it once a day.
Troubleshooting
I'm not getting any push notifications even though they're toggled on in the app
OS-level permission was denied or revoked. The in-app toggles control routing, but the OS controls actual delivery — if the OS says no, nothing arrives.
Fix: Phone Settings > Notifications > CRMown > toggle Allow Notifications on. iOS users may also need to allow Time-Sensitive Notifications for high-priority alerts to surface on the lock screen during Focus.
Pushes are duplicated — I get 2 of the same alert
You're signed in to CRMown on two devices (phone + tablet) or have two app installs (prod + staging build).
Fix: Sign out of one of them. To check active sessions: web > Settings > Account > Sessions.
Tapping a notification opens the home screen instead of the relevant item
Deep-link payload was missing on that specific event type, or you were in a state the app couldn't resolve to a screen (logged out, different org).
Fix: Open the bell icon inside the app — every push has a matching in-app notification with the correct deep link.
Plans
All plans get push notifications. The channel toggles match the suites you have active (Pipeline channel only fires if you have access to the pipeline; Team Chat channel only fires if Comm Pro is active on the org).
