Site Templates — Browse and Clone

A curated gallery of pre-built website templates by industry. Click "Use This Template" and the template's pages are instantly cloned into your org as a regular Site you can edit and publish — no AI tokens spent on the clone.

Steps

  1. Go to Sites (sidebar > Sites) and click "📐 Browse Templates" next to "AI Create New".
  2. Filter by category (Real Estate, Service Business, Restaurant, Agency, Portfolio, SaaS, E-commerce) or search by keyword.
  3. Click a template card to preview every page in a scrollable modal.
  4. Click "Use This Template" — the pages are deep-copied into a new Site under your org and you're taken straight to the editor.
  5. Edit copy, swap your logo, connect a custom domain, and publish.

Good to know

  • Templates vs AI Generate: templates are instant + free of token cost; AI generation is custom but uses 1-4 AI calls depending on site type. For a fast start use a template, then ask "Edit with AI" inside the editor for natural-language tweaks.
  • Templates are platform-curated — the gallery is the same for every org. Custom org-private templates are not yet supported.
  • Each clone increments a "popular" counter the gallery uses to sort. Featured templates are pinned to the top.
Example: A new dental practice picks the "Service Business" template, swaps photos and copy in the editor, connects "smilesbyjmcalister.com" as a custom domain, and goes live in 35 minutes — versus the 2-hour wait for the AI-generated path.

Troubleshooting

"Clone failed" error when clicking Use This Template
Template was deactivated between page-load and click, or your org hit a Sites cap on your plan.
Fix: Refresh the gallery (deactivated templates disappear). Check Settings > Billing for your plan's site limit (Starter 3, Pro 10, Max unlimited).

Plans

Templates are available on every plan — the cap is the same as for any other Site (Starter 3, Pro 10, Max unlimited).
