Site Files: Host a PDF or Any File on Your Own Domain
Upload a PDF, image, spreadsheet or text file to a Web Studio site and it is served at your site's own address, e.g. https://yourdomain.com/sms-optin-flow.pdf. Built for proof-of-consent documents that Twilio toll-free and A2P reviewers ask for, but works for any file you want to link to.
Steps
- Open Web Studio > Hosting and find Site Files at the top. Pick the site (the one with your custom domain), choose the file, and check the Address — it defaults to the file name, e.g. sms-optin-flow.pdf. Click Upload.
- The file is live right away at https://<your custom domain>/<address>. Sites without a custom domain serve it at their free address (.../site/<site name>/<address>). Use Copy link to paste it into a form such as Twilio's verification.
- To change the file, click Replace (or upload again with the same address) — the link stays the same. Delete removes the file and its link stops working.
- Files stay when you republish or rename the site. The site must be published for the link to work.
Good to know
- Up to 25 MB per file and 100 files per site. Addresses can include folders, like docs/terms.pdf.
- Scripts (.js and similar) cannot be hosted. HTML and SVG files are served with scripts disabled.
- favicon.ico, robots.txt and sitemap.xml are provided by the site itself and cannot be replaced here.
