Message Templates
Create reusable templates for common messages across all channels.
Steps
- Go to Conversations and click the Templates icon.
- Click "+ New Template" and choose the channel type.
- Write your message — use merge fields like {{firstName}}, {{company}} for personalization.
- Save and use the template when composing messages.
Good to know
- Templates support merge fields for dynamic personalization.
- WhatsApp templates must be approved by Meta before use.
Example: A freelance designer creates four templates she sends weekly: "Initial intro" (with Calendly link), "Project kickoff" (with intake form), "Mid-project check-in", and "Invoice ready". Each uses {{firstName}} and {{projectName}} merge fields, so a 3-second template pick replaces 4 minutes of re-typing the same email.
