SMS Compliance — Generate Your Opt-In, Privacy & Terms Pages (A2P 10DLC)

US carriers (A2P 10DLC) require your SMS opt-in form, Privacy Policy and Terms to live on YOUR OWN domain — not a generic SaaS URL. CRMown generates all three for you in one click.

Steps

  1. Settings → Communications → SMS Compliance Pages → Generate Pages (optionally enter a contact email for the policies).
  2. Click "Open in Web Studio" → review the pages → Publish.
  3. Connect your own domain or subdomain (e.g. join.yourbusiness.com) to the generated site in Web Studio.
  4. Submit your Twilio A2P campaign using your-domain.com (sign-up), /privacy and /terms as the opt-in and policy URLs.

Good to know

  • The opt-in consent checkbox is unchecked by default and the Privacy Policy includes the required "we do not share or sell mobile opt-in data" clause — both are carrier requirements.
  • Host the pages on your own (sub)domain. Carriers reject policies hosted on a third-party SaaS domain.
  • To keep an existing business number for texting without disrupting your phone calls, ask Twilio about Hosted SMS instead of porting the number.

Troubleshooting

My A2P 10DLC campaign was rejected with error 30909
Carriers could not verify how users consent — usually the Privacy/Terms are not on your domain, the opt-in form is not reviewable, or the Privacy Policy is missing the SMS no-sharing clause.
Fix: Generate the SMS Compliance pages, publish them on your own domain, and resubmit using those URLs. Make sure the Privacy and Terms pages load without login.
